• USCG HQ has announced through the IS chain that tasks are being waived for 2006 (presumably because AUXDATA has already been modified for the new currency policies). Those that are missing tasks only will not be put into REYR. Currency FAQ updated with this information.

• Crew and Coxswain initial qualification underway check ride PDF files now posted on Mentor Corner page (thanks to G-3PCX-2 for providing).

• Auxiliary Operations Policy is set by Headquarters through the Chief Director G-PCX. Changes can occur well prior to any formal document change notice being published of accumulated changes. A caveat has been added to the Policy page and to the Downloads page to remind members that there could be important modifications not reflected in the published Auxiliary Operations Policy Manual.

• A QE/Mentor session will be held at the conference Saturday afternoon, discussing/simulating crew and coxswain check ride scenarios (bring your questions/horror problems/suggestions!)
