A workshop is available annually for the operations program. It
might be determined by the National Board and the Chief Director of
Auxiliary to be mandatory for all operations participants, some
participants, or only optional.
For 2010, the workshop is optional. The presenter is ideally the
SO or FSO of MT or OP, but any Auxiliarist with presentation skills,
active as crew or coxswain, may lead the workshop (e.g. the presenter is
not required to be Auxiliary instructor-certified.)

The Auxiliary Boat Crew Training Manual requires every member
certified in surface operations to have annual TCT refresher
training, given locally (e.g. does not require a formal TCT
facilitator). This interactive training is about an hour in
duration.
There is a Facilitator Resource for the local member leading the
training, and a Participant Reference for those attending the training.
While it is recommended that the session leader be an instructor, it
is not required to be Auxiliary instructor-certified to facilitate
the TCT Annual Refresher.

This is the sample form found in Appendix B, Auxiliary
Operations Policy Manual converted into a fill-in Adobe Acrobat
form. This form must be used when a facility being offered for use
has more than two Auxiliary owners, or has non-member owners.
Because this form requires written signatures, a printed copy must
be signed and an original document submitted with the facility
inspection (e.g. cannot be submitted electronically).

This is the Auxiliary Operations Policy Manual from the Coast
Guard official manual distribution site. This material is daily
reference material for all Auxiliarists involved with operations in
any manner (surface, air, radio).
VERY IMPORTANT: Coast Guard Headquarters does issue modifications
to policy, often long before a formal change document or new revision is
issued. There does not appear to be any one place where a member can
see the accumulated changes in writing, although this is supposed to
be a function
of the Chief Director's
website and the Chief Director's Surface
Operations website. An example of change: ALCOAST message 033/06,
which specifically clarifies homeland security missions (prohibiting
Auxiliary surface facilities from performing any Port Waterways and
Coastal Security [PWCS] missions given that these all require armed
patrols.)

The following links bring you to forms from the National Web
Site. These forms are all in Adobe PDF format; most are electronic
fill-in, some are just the form itself (requiring printing and
manual fill-in). See the National Forms
page for specific electronic revision levels. Please notify the
if you encounter
incorrect or broken links for these forms. You will get the most
recent form from the National site, which might be more recent than
the text summary below.
Member Activity Log, ANSC 7029. (
301 k).
Form Date: 01/10. Fill-in version. Use this to report travel,
preparation, and time not reported on the Mission Activity Report.
Mission Activity Report, ANSC 7030. ( 184 k).

separate action needed outside of POMS). For shore side activity and
for QE activity, this form will be necessary to report
missions/time.
SAR Incident Report, ANSC 7034. ( 129 k).
Form Date: 10/96. Manual version. This form must be completed very
soon after handling a numbered case assigned from your controlling

controlling station immediately (they may need some information to
finish their local case file).
Travel Voucher or
Sub voucher, DD-1351-2. ( 235 k).

and check your input for this government form.
